One simplification would be to say that a watch with equal battery capacity should have a potential for equal battery life with another watch if they both choose to spend the battery on the same functions and keep their displays off. And, while I don’t generally like a larger watch, the weight being only 61g (the FR745 is 48g, and the Fenix 6 Pro is 72g, versus the 82g for the 6X Pro Solar), meant it wasn’t the heavier Fenix 6 watch for the longer battery life.
